"We flew into Madison and it took just under an hour to reach the motel. It is very convenient to Oxford, just off of 39 (not too far from the Dells, but out of the commercial area for sure! We stayed in the King Room. It was very clean. I understand it is under new management. I dislike staying hotels, and this has character. The king room has a fridge and microwave, also a seating area. The heat was much appreciated! There was a frost in the morning and it was so beautiful and peaceful. The bird feeders were very active. We saw a deer on the grounds as we pulled away to breakfast. I'd be interested in going back in the summer and I'd love to get a peek inside the two log cabins. Overall, it was conveniently located, quiet, clean and reasonably priced."
